The Someone Will Project has unveiled the fifth billboard in the eight week series with a ‘Welcome to Adelaide’ billboard, placed on a supersite in… Melbourne.

OMA CEO Charmaine Moldrich said “The aim of this project has been to have a bit of fun and show a range of ways the medium can be used to create an impact”.

The first four weeks of the campaign saw a series of billboards in Pyrmont, Sydney ranging from a ‘Missing Python’ billboard, warning of a friendly snake called Fred who had disappeared, which generated over 400 calls and over 100 voicemail messages; a T-shirt graphic ‘I’m with Stupid’ taken to a new level; a contagious image of three people yawning taken by photographer Brock Elbank; and a photograph by UK photographer Gareth McConnell to beautify the Sydney street with an image of ‘Night Flowers’. Each billboard links through to a blog site, www.someonewillproject.com which provides a forum for the industry to discuss the billboards and read more about the project.

Spend $30,000 and get a 32 inch tv. Spend $60,000 and get a 42 inch. Spend $90,000 and get a 52 inch.*

Nothing demonstrates the power of outdoor better than this, the largest billboard in Australia at the Glebe Island silos in Sydney. All eyes were on this marketing stunt by outdoor media company Eye, and printed by Omnigraphics. Up for 24 hours, it was down again the next morning and replaced by an ad for Colonial Mutual, without batting an eyelid.

Omnigraphics Prints Biggest Billboard in Australia

Omnigraphics was the chosen printer for a brand new billboard site that sets new records for the biggest in Australia.

Situated at Sydney International Airport, on top of a new 8 storey carpark at Terminal 1, the site is made up of 2 panels each measuring more than 100m long and over 5m high.

Omnigraphics is constantly striving to stay at the top of outdoor printing technology and is constantly breaking new ground to do so. The client entrusted Omnigraphics with the production of this site to ensure that the billboard was printed to the highest quality and that it was delivered to meet the launch deadline.

Transforming environments is child's play

Sydney Creative Agency, One For All has recently completed an interior design project for Corner Cubbyhouse, a new children’s indoor playcentre at Five Dock. However, Corner Cubbyhouse caters for parents as much as it does for kids. For the “big kids” it has a comfortable lounge area with pay-TV, wi-fi internet, gourmet food & great coffee.

As part of the opening of this new playcentre, One For All developed a comprehensive marketing strategy and brand identity. The brand identity included the design concept of three mascots for the brand, along with a ‘wonderland-style’ environment for them all to play in.

These design elements range from simple merchandise branding, to a website, brochures and posters, right through to large format signage.

It’s these large format wall graphics that really sets Corner Cubbyhouse apart from other brands in this category. Close to 400 square metres of illustrated wall graphics have been applied to the walls in the main areas and on the inside & outside of the party rooms.

The CEO and brains behind Corner Cubbyhouse is ex-investment banker and father of two, Andrew Cronan who said this about the new project;

“We are very excited about opening. It has been years of hard work, research and planning so to see it come to fruition is a real delight. We’re really happy with the job One For All have done to develop our brand identity. Furthermore, our custom designed wallpaper and fit-out just looks fantastic and the kids really love it. Our customers regularly comment that they’ve never seen anything as impressive.”
